believe or not, i'm leaning "argentine tango" in shibuya since ...when? my first toe was the beginning of november, but somehow i needed to have interruption during dec & jan, then i started feb again.
reason why i tried to learn tango was ... musical RENT. in the musical (& the movie), there was a scene about two main characters danced tango, called "the tango maureen":

i though i could dance tango (, but later i would know that my though was soooo wrong...).

anyway, by yesterday i had four primary class (of argentine tango!), & i've leaned some tango steps, like grape vine, resolution, box step, salida...what do they mean anyway?
good thing is for one hour session, i have to concentrate to learn (argentine tango!). it make me keeping out other small things, like my jobs or private life(?).
oh another good thing is...i've realized that for me it's easy to twist left (right leg is front), but kind of hard to twist right (lest leg is front). i also have to keep in my mind is not to move my left arm up or down, keep it correct position.
my today's conclusion is to do stretch "articulatio coxae" (=股関節ネ), as know as 股割りネ.

the pic is a CD assistant instructor Namajima-san (she is very beautiful) recommended: "Tango With Me" by Ryota Komatsu.
