i researched some cafes from my friend, but i couldn't go there. for example,
- Mayrose -- 920 Broadway (@21st st.)
- Island Burgers and Shakes -- 760 9th av. (51st st. & 52nd st.)
- (unknown cafe) -- next to hotel New York Helmsely
to browse around Meatpacking District (& Chelsea):
MPD is a new must-go area in NY, & a could of guide books introduce jeans shop "An Earbest Cut & Sew". also, there should be many galleries in Chelsea. i wanted to see them.
to see matinees or off-broadway musicals:
i wish i could see...
- Spring Awake (BW)
- Wicked (BW)
- Young Frankenstein (BW)
- Naked Boy Singing! (OB) (ad of the musical said, "so naked!!")

ん〜今度は誰か一緒に行ってくれる人を探して行きたいですネー。
追加の情報ですが、、、実は上に書いたハンバーガー屋さんはhell's kitchinって地区にあります。何でもあるって意味で「地獄の台所」なんでしょうが、治安が悪い事でも有名らしく、先日も強盗が死体をレストランの前まで引きずって、その死体から財布を盗り、食事をしたとか、しないとか。。。
治安が良くなったNYとは言え、危機管理は大切だと思いましたねー。
